Our Discovery process is designed to give you a complete evaluation of Senior Helpers while we consider you in becoming part of the Senior Helpers ‘family’.

A good fit is important to us in strengthening our brand and for you to partner with the right homecare franchise. We at Senior Helpers take pride in our work and share core values to ensure a level of excellence unmatched in our industry. Here is what you can expect as you move through the process of becoming an owner of a Senior Helpers franchise:

Step 1: First Call

During our first call we will review territory availability and a general overview of the investment and our company. We’ll talk about you and your goals of owning a homecare business as well as your background. You will be asked to fill out an application form so we can better understand you.

Step 2: Concept Discussion

This call will focus on our company history, vision and brand differentiators for you to begin to understand why Senior Helpers is building to be a trusted company in homecare. We will also review the details of the investment and an analysis of financial options. At the conclusion of this call, we will ask for a fully refundable 10% deposit. Following the receipt of this, we will send you the Franchise Disclosure Document. This document contains information to help evaluate the investment costs and includes a financial representation of our existing territories.

Step 3: Training and Operations Discussion

This call will begin by reviewing any questions you have regarding the Disclosure Document. We will also discuss the support you will receive in relation to operations and other training in preparing to open your office. Step by step guidance is given for office set-up, operational policies and procedures, staffing, financial planning and legislative requirements as well as industry regulations. Ongoing support will include an organisational chart analysis, training systems to keep your team stays abreast of industry trends, key performance indicator monitoring, marketing, compliance and operational interviews.

Step 4: Marketing and Information Technology Discussion

This call is designed to give you a complete understanding of the role our marketing has in driving new business to Senior Helpers offices. Through the use of international standard marketing programs and collateral, we support our unique programs and services. Advertising on a national level will support your marketing efforts so you can focus on operating a successful business. We will also discuss our newest technology software, Matrix Care and how it has revolutionised the way we run our homecare businesses.

Step 5: Validation

An important part of learning about our company is to speak with people you may be joining in our Senior Helpers family. You can ask a franchisee anything and get the perspective of someone who runs a Senior Helpers business to help you open your own Senior Helpers.

Step 6: Discovery Day

Once approved, you will be invited to our head office in Launceston Tasmania to meet with us. We will support you in owning a Senior Helpers franchise. Individual meetings with our team will provide you with a comprehensive overview of each of our programs. At the conclusion of the day, once all parties agree to move forward, we will guide you through signing the documents and immediately begin the pre-opening process with the operations team. The Discovery process will now be complete but the exciting journey now begins as you will be part of the prestigious Senior Helpers family!
