Senior Helpers started in 2002 in the USA with Tony Bonacuse with the help of Peter Ross.
Both had first-hand experience caring for family members and understood the need for in-home care that was professional, compassionate and comprehensive.
While investigating their options, available for home-care for their own relatives, they found that many companies didn’t respond to their inquiries, or their employees seemed to lack professionalism or passion for their work.
It was clear to both that someone needed to address the deficiencies in that industry and provide a trustworthy and professional level of care to seniors. With Peter as his sounding board, Tony set out to create an organisation that would fulfil those needs.
In 2002, Tony opened the first Senior Helpers office in the USA. Senior Helpers quickly developed a reputation for excellence and not long afterwards, Peter joined Tony full time and opened a second office. With both offices thriving, Tony and Peter decided to sell Senior Helpers franchises as a way to bring services to those in need across the USA.
In 2011, Senior Helpers expanded their operations to Australia. By bringing motivated, compassionate franchisees onto the Senior Helpers team, Senior Helpers Franchising LLC has since continued to build a strong reputation for professional and compassionate senior care in the USA, Canada and Australia.
